The sketch style drawings utilized in the “Bicycle Sketch Playing Cards” are inverted to create a traditional white line art on blueprint grid paper look. To help with gameplay, the Hearts and Diamonds large PIPS contain Red borders throughout. To complete the blueprint feel, accent shapes and markings are added symmetrically in each Face Card. The Ace of Spade and Jokers feature a wood mannequin hand model. They’re often used for drawing and painting reference with artists of all genres.
These collectable custom playing cards were designed by Randy Butterfield and produced by Will Roya. Only 2,500 decks were ever printed. Each one was manufactured on classic Bicycle Playing Cards stock by the USPCC.
